After Rebirth: What Should I Do if My Boyfriend Has a Boyfriend? - Extra 11
Extra 11
He had been going through his math notes but after one night’s sleep, he found himself lying on his crush’s bed.
What do I do—
Jiang Yi stared at the ceiling in daze. He didn’t know either. He didn’t even have the courage to reach for the phone lying on the bedside table and send a post. After all, his crush’s hand was currently wrapped around his waist.
Jiang Yi carefully turned around, sweeping his gaze towards Chu Chuan’s eyelashes and couldn’t stop himself from hyperventilating. There was still a month before his highschool exam and the first period today should’ve been his form teacher’s class. But he was lying here instead, still dreaming.
Even so, he didn’t want to wake from this dream. He mustered all the courage he could and stared fixedly at Chu Chuan’s sleeping face until a bout of sleepiness washed over him again. He forced his eyes open and planted a kiss on Chu Chuan’s lip, full of confusion over this overly realistic dream. But he still closed his eyes, satisfied.
When he woke up, the soft sound of raindrops pitter-pattering on the window buzzed by his ear. The weight against his waist had long since disappeared and a large half of the bed had been empty. Jiang Yi hadn’t had the chance to hear his father’s shouting when he had been awoken from the rain.
He hugged the blanket and rolled around on the bed, a feeling of dejection suddenly overwhelmed his heart and a sad look appeared on his face.
Wait a second—
My bed isn’t this big though???
Jiang Yi sat himself up and found the bedroom completely foreign to his own, but it was the exact same as the one in his room. He jumped out of the bed in shock, not even bothering to put on his slippers before running out.
The bedside table didn’t have the alarm that he smashed on a daily basis that was miraculously still working, nor did it have the Nokia phone he had run through half the city to buy in order to study well. He hesitated for a second before picking up the thin, black phone lying there instead, letting out a breath of relief after turning it on.
The date matched up.
Though on the lock screen sat a man against a sunlight window, his fingers separating to hide his face. Based on the camera angle, it looked entirely like a selfie, parts of his face revealed under his sculpted fingers.
Jiang Yi stared quietly at the man on the screen, feeling the breath suspended in his throat. Just based on the facial features he could see, it did look a little like his dad in his youth. Was this dad’s phone? Jiang Yi flipped the phone around and looked at it curiously, putting his birthdate in as an experiment—
The sound of the phone unlocking sounded. The password was correct.
So it was his dad’s phone, Jiang Yi let out the breath, hugging the phone and sitting back down on the bed. Although he didn’t know what happened last night, seeing his father’s phone made him much calmer than before.
Jiang Yu hummed a song and pulled the app library out, wanting to open an idle game for fun when he saw the words ‘Thursday’ in the corner of his eyes. He paused.
It was Thursday yesterday, shouldn’t it be Friday today???
Jiang Yi jumped in fright.
What would make the same day repeat again but not the date? Was his memory messed up? Or…
It was a completely different year.
Cold sweat flowed down his back. He rigidly found the time settings on the phone and found the year to be— 11 years in the future.
Who the fuck’s pranking me? Jiang Yi brought the phone and ran out of the bedroom, flipping the whole house upside down but he still couldn’t find a shadow of another person. Jiang Yi walked out of the bathroom in a daze. When he walked past the mirror above the washing basin, he paused.
Following close after, he saw the face reflected in the mirror clearly, staring with wide eyes and pupils shrunk. Jiang Yi gripped the sides of the washing basin and moved so close to the mirror his nose was about to touch it.
The man in the mirror was him, yet it wasn’t him.
His features had matured and settled, unlike the little brat that hadn’t turned 18 yet.
Did he get amnesia? Or was he in a coma for 11 years?
Jiang Yi’s eyes flashed as if he remembered something, raising the phone and pressing against the lock screen wallpaper. The person in there didn’t look anywhere close to his father, it was clearly—
Him.
After calming down and thinking about it, his father never had cameras that could take selfies, nor did he have colour phones like this one when he was younger. He stared rigidly at the man in the mirror and smiled, but all he felt was a heavy sense of fear and helplessness.
A low, nice sounding voice sounded by his ear, “You didn’t wear your slippers again.”
Jiang Yi tensed, alert clearly shining in his eyes. But before he could turn around, a handsome and mature face appeared in the mirror. It was familiar yet foreign, smiling yet frowning looking at him, “What did you promise me the last time you didn’t wear slippers? You already forgot?”
He could only stare at his thin lips open and close, but none of the words being said was registered.
It was Chu Chuan. To be exact, it was Chu Chuan 11 years in the future.
Is this a dream? Or is this reality? He woke up every morning and waited by the bus stop just to catch a glimpse of this person. But now he was standing in front of him, talking to him in an intimate tone.
And just a few hours ago, he was lying in the same bed as him, arm wrapped tightly around his waist. Jiang Yi subconsciously touched his waist, his face reddening.
“What are you blushing for? I thought you didn’t even know how to spell ‘blushing’ until today.” Instead of the 18 year old Chu Chuan, this Chu Chuan had much more mature features and was much more handsome. He swept his gaze over Jiang Yi in confusion and stopped at the phone in his hand, “What are you taking my phone to the bathroom for?”
“Y-Yours? I-Isn’t—” Isn’t this my phone?
Jiang Yi looked away, stuttering nervously. His mind was a sheet of blank.
What the fuck is going on?!
He woke up and found himself living with his crush, his phone password was his birthday and the lockscreen was a picture of himself. Just as if…
As if they were lovers living together for years already.
It seemed to last too long to be a dream.
But he hoped he never opened his eyes again if it was.

Thank you for your translation! Ahhh idk what to feel after extra 11, why would author leave us a cliffhanger. Anyway I’ll just think that months later in the future, the OG CC will go back to the past exactly at chapter 10 and the young CC will then replace the him 11 years into the future.
